Facilites at Viewing Site

Camping/lodging Camping/lodging Wilderness permits are required for overnight trips. Last Friday in June to Sept 15: Overnight use is limited to 40 people/day.
Permits are issued at Inyo National Forest visitor centers.

Drinking Water Drinking Water Water from creeks, lakes and springs should be treated before drinking.

Fee Fee Free permits available is USFS visitor centers.

Restrooms Restrooms Vault toilet at trailhead. Please Leave No Trace. Bury human waste away from water sources.
