Bike Trails Bike Trails Access for bicyclists is on the multi-use area of Sylvan Meadows, located across from the SRP Visitor Center. There are over 20 miles of trails for multi-use recreation.

Boardwalks Boardwalks There is currently no access to the vernal pool boardwalk because of the storm damage in 2010-2011. Repair to the boardwalk should be completed prior to the storms of 2011-12.

Bus Accessible Bus Accessible Bus accessiblility is restricted to the parking lots at the SRP Visitor Center, Hidden Valley parking area, Sylvan Meadows Parking area and the Vernal pool parking lot. No bus access is permitted on the roads within the SRPER and Sylvan Meadows multi-use area.

Drinking Water Drinking Water Drinking water is available at the SRP Visitor Center. There is no potable water within the SRPER and Sylvan Meadows multi-use area.

Fee Fee $3/adult $2/child for day use

Also $1/horse/dog using Sylvan Meadows multi-use area.

Interpretive Signs Interpretive Signs Interpretive signs are located at all trailheads on the Ecological Reserve alerting Visitors to wildlife activity, restricted use, and current conditions.

Lookouts Lookouts The lookout on Monument Hill off Mt. Hill Road will give visitors a panoramic view of the Ecological Reserve. Benches are available at this site for viewing.

Restrooms Restrooms Portable toilets are available at all trailheads; as well as, at the Historic adobes. ADA accessbile toilets are available at the SRP Visitor Center.

Trails Trails There are over 40 miles of hiking trails available to Visitors to the SRPER. Only the trail behind the SRP Visitor Center and the .7 mile section of the Vernal Pool trail are ADA accesible.

Trash Cans Trash Cans Trash cans are located at all trailheads. Trash brought into the Ecological Reserve should be packed out and disposed of in these containers.

Visitor Center/Ranger Station Visitor Center/Ranger Station The Santa Rosa Plateau Visitor Center is open from 9am to 5pm Tuesday through Sunday year round. Occasionally, Reserve closures will occur because of wildlife, fire and other high risk occurances. Please contact the Visitor Center at (951) 677-6951 before you visit.
